Mark S. Vassar, CPA - Managing Partner, Co-Founder
Mark S. Vassar, Certified Public Accountant, graduated from Texas Tech University in 1984 where he focused his studies on tax management and financial research analysis. After joining Kenneth C. Boothe and Company in 1984, making our firm Boothe, Vassar and Company, Mr. Vassar and his partner have become well known for their tax and advisory knowledge provided to the agricultural industry. Mr. Vassar now acts as the managing partner where he oversees all aspects of tax management. Mark has extensive experience in tax planning and strategies, as well as entity structure and formation designed to provide farmers and ranchers with better tax efficiency.
Mr. Vassar currently resides in Big Spring, TX, with his wife, Veronda and his dog Lucy, and together they have 3 children and 7 grandchildren. In his spare time you will find Mark enjoying Rangers baseball with his grandkids.

Veronda Vassar - Chief Financial Officer
Mrs. Vassar accepted the position as CFO in 1998. Her responsibilities as Chief Financial Officer include financial management and reporting of the firm’s books, as well as oversight and management of all firm personnel. Before accepting the role of CFO Mrs. Vassar owned and operated a successful Christian book store in Big Spring, TX, The Masters Touch. However, having grown up in her father’s accounting firm Veronda returned to her true love, accounting and financials.
Veronda is married to Managing Partner Mark S. Vassar, CPA, and together they have 3 children and 7 grandchildren. Outside of the office, Veronda enjoys spending her time with her family of children and grandchildren most of all.
